A Marriage of Color & Design

Once in a while a tattoo design and its colors are beautifully executed. That's what Miki has done here!
I venture to say this, as I am his worst critic.
In the past two years I have noticed more color combinations, color gradations, and color usage by him. He would prefer the traditional black and grey tattoos, but perhaps it's the subtle influence of three girls in his life. Whatever it is, this bird is lovably and the black in it is enhance by the use of color.

Unstoppable Spirit
Alex wanted a tattoo that would express what his life is all about. At 25 a drunk driver smashed into his motorcycle; his injuries paralyzed him from his waist down. Bound to a wheelchair, but with an unstoppable spirit, he founded and runs the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group of South Florida, were he lift the spirits of other in his situation. Friendly and easygoing; I always enjoy tattooing him.

Homage to The Big Apple

Chris originally from the Bronx, trusted this Danish boy to come up with a half sleeve that would honor his feelings of NY. After spending seven years in NYC, where I started my tattoo career, I can say it is my pleasure to make a composition of this kind.
Chris came in with a faded New York Yankee symbol on his right arm. I began immediately drawing on him. I placed the national symbol of freedom, the eagle on the top part of the shoulder. The twin towers on the chest and the statue of liberty on the outer part of the arm. We decided on black and grey to give it a traditional look. The result!, a composition we could both be proud of.
